  • MMFT - University of Southern California

  • M.A. - CSPP at Alliant University

  • Psy.D - CSPP at Alliant University

A California native, Dr. Danielle Kronfli earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Southern California (USC). She continued her education at USC to focus more on her passion to be a community helper and obtained her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) with a focus on clinical work. During this time Dr. Kronfli spent 7 months in LAUSD as a school counseling intern running groups that covered peer pressure, bullying, self-esteem, study skills, and self-care. Additionally, she worked as an aide in a special education classroom for BHUSD and gathered trainee experience in the MFT program at the Southern California Counseling Center (SCCC). During her two years there, she offered individual and group therapy for teen and adult clients with depression, anxiety, anger management issues, DCFS related issues, and provided group therapy for adult clients participating in a counselor training course involved in the community outreach program.

Dr. Kronfli furthered her focus on providing support to children and families by attending the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University (CSPP). Here she earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology (M.A) and Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology with a Family, Child, and Couples emphasis. For a year at the Children's Collective Inc., Dr. Kronfli focused on the 0-5yr. population with individual play therapy and socialization groups, parent-child dyad therapy, and developmental assessments and teacher trainings to support this population. The final two years of doctoral training Dr. Kronfli interned at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House offering individual, family, couple, group, and child therapy; specifically, child/family support for patients and/or siblings focusing on illness, socialization, grief/loss and adjustment. Concurrently, working on her doctoral project, titled “The Death of a Latency-Aged Child from a Terminal Illness: A Systemic Perspective”, evaluated the unique and specific psychological issues and needs of parents whose child has died from a terminal illness specifically recognizing the clinical challenges that can come about for these families. She found that addressing these concerns is quintessential in assessing the contributing factors to a successful therapeutic relationship and treatment process.
